sorry sridhar, i’m not a doctor so i really don’t know the answer for that (and don’t know how bad is your problem either)…but think that if yoga helps other people with similar problems, yeah, it might help, if done moderate and correctly.
what i suggest you is to compare other information you may gather (books, internet, etc) with the professional opinion from doctors (i’d say at least more than one) and also the opinion from someone from a yoga school.
and don’t forget, you may not overcome the problem but at least you’ll improve strenght, posture and balance…which helps a lot!
I´m reading he book YôGA–Miths anf facts about,Mestre DeRose.
As he says,we can´t learn it without a master…it´s more than attitude,asanas or breathing…its a style of life.:)
